Ho hum

Well yesterday it took British Gas 3 hours to fix our boiler, apparently the strangest fault they had seen, plenty of hot water for the radiators but none for the hot water cold showers aren't fun >.<  Feel much better this morning after a lovely hot shower.

Work argh absolute mayhem.  I seem to be the only one that can do half the things in the office why?  I'm up to my neck at the moment with alterations to clinics and restructuring yet I'm still trying to absorb the 1001 other things that crop up that no-one else seems to be able to deal with.  To say I'm getting close to imploding is not an understatement yet asking someone to help is an ordeal in itself you get looked at as if you have three heads and all of them are talking in a foreign or alien language, I know we're all busy but some are busier than others and there's no team in that place I tell you.  Andi this, Andi that, ask Andi, Andi can do it, Andi knows how to.. blah.  Struggling to stay sane and definitely struggling to remain calm on the outside when I just want to cry.

Damn house looks like an A bombs hit it, another 1001 things to do every day but there's no energy left over to do them!  Is it a woman thing that we notice all the things that need doing and try to sort them?  I give up I can't sort them which kind of makes it worse as it just makes me feel very very useless and a failure.  Up at about 5 most mornings now, grab a coffee, feed the dogs, let them out, have 20 minutes catching up on the day through the laptop, get showered, dressed, make lunch, stick washing in, clean blankets for the dogs beds, top up dogs biscuits and water, moan on here about overload, get my bags together, dry hair, go to work, I'm not even listing all that stuff apart from trying to snatch a sandwich while answering the phone and responding to emails and sorting out whichever crisis comes up, drive home, stop on way to get milk/bread whatever else needs getting, feed dogs, let them out, top up water, go outside clean up there, cook if I can be bothered otherwise grab a sandwich, get coffee, hoover or potter around doing bits that you can't see you've done like cleaning the loo or scrubbing the sink and sorting out the kitchen sides, sit on the sofa to watch Eastenders 4 times a week then get up off the sofa quick or fall asleep.  Is this all there is to life?  Glad I have the caravan to go away in for the odd weekend.
