Life goes on and you forget you've set things up and not updated them!
Things have turned a corner for the better in some ways, in others not much has changed >.<
For one I've got a new job :o) and the difference this has made is remarkable. Gone are the days of being stuck at a desk in an office and being pulled in 20 different directions at once. I've taken a job as an Associate Practitioner in Lymphoedema - which is a condition where for whatever reason the lymph nodes have been removed or stopped working and the fluid that they would normally remove builds up in tissues. It can be quite debilitating for sufferers. I started on 21 Feb 2012 and from the week after next my own clinics 'proper' will be running. My own patients again.
It's come with problems, for one I've had to take a reduction in hours, a massive reduction for the past few weeks but only 10 hours difference from next week. I'm hoping to make up another 10-15 hours a week working on research in Ophthalmology but that's still in the pipeline and the pipe seems to be very long! So at the moment I'm still popping into Ophthalmology to help out on an ad hoc basis, not the ideal to be back where I escaped from but with the price of things I can't afford not to do it.
Bit more of an update later, I need to go put the washing on the line and then get ready to go the dentist :o( I lost my crown and have to go for a fitting for a new one and thanks for the bill of £204 for the priviledge >.<
Thanks for the update. It is good to hear that you are turning your life around.
